This piece was created for The Dragon Is the Frame at Gallery 400 in Chicago. The show, like the piece, was a tribute to the life and work of the late great Mark Aguhar, who left this world in March of 2012 and continues to be sorely missed.

A meandering and epic remix of Mazzy Star's iconic song, "Fade Into You," plays from suspended stereo speakers. The viewer navigates three component stereo towers, roughly human height in scale, that intermittently play audio memories associated with the song, narrated by a single actress. These "memories" are both real anecdotes collected from acquaintances and fictional stories culled from television and film.
