Habotai silk, stone fruit from Aotearoa
Dimensions variable: 9 silk panels, 4 were roughly 14' high and 5 were roughly 6.5' high. They varied in widths with the skinniest being about 4.5" wide and the widest being about 36" wide. This work is a reprise of the original Preserve and, to a lesser extent, Triangle. These panels were crafted to cover the windows of the Engine Room in Wellington, New Zealand during the installataion of my exhibition ships in the night. Once the exhibition opened, they moved to the Te Whare Hera site on Clyde Quay Wharf, where they hung until the end of my residency in late March.
